A falling brown leaf of a dying autumn
is like the page of a letter getting old
after been read with so many tears...
who said, "goodbye is just another word?
A tree, deep in the forest is falling
hitting the ground without a sound,
because nobody was there to hear
or because a deaf had told so?
A broken rainbow, its million pieces
stained with color the landscape around,
just a memory of "good old times"
or small souvenirs of years long gone?
We are beyond the reach of any wishes
in an enormous garden made with rocks,
where no flowers will ever blossom,
only the shadows left by storms.
The landscape will be painted in a canvas
where all smiles and hopes got lost,
with brushes made of broken dreams
and the darkest colors from a pained soul.
"Pain" seethes in your words, and a heart aches in such sorrow...
"...who said, "goodbye is just another word?"...this line grabbed me, and I felt "Pain" till the end...
Write it right outta ya~ George, your doing good! Smiles!

Melancholy ponderings here George. The deep rivers of human suffering can be dreadfully lonely at times, especially heightened when there is no one to empathize. You write of seasons all humans experience. Thank God the pendulum swings both ways.
