The cute little ones are those that jolts you with an unexpected answer or comment, also, grossly underestimated, they possess the uncanniest knack of philosophere well beyond our comprehension.

Mom keep saying to me,
"when you are afraid...
just chase your fears with
the biggest of your laughs,

because as the balloon
is full of air, your fright
will be much bigger when
left alone in your mind."

I bet she has no monsters
under her bed like I have,
or hiding in the closet
where children monsters hide.

Wish that Mom could believe
and no say that's only fright,
'cause when I look under my bed
two eyes are there looking back.

So, just if is not the case
of the monster being our cat,
I will shoo outside the kitten
and then we will see who was right.

We are only little children
asking Mom and asking Dad,
to please believe when we say
is a real monster going around.

Don't give me balloon stories,
'cause if you thing am not that bright,
I will be looking for the monsters
when the sun shines, not at night.

I am a little girl with four brothers,
chicken all of them, oh they are!
don't want to go chasing monsters
but showing muscles, oh they brag!

I got me a mean mean plush-dinosaur,
to put under my bed before tonight,
so, I don't need to look no more,
