When the fathers aren't asked, when the death sentence on an innocent and on the soul of the man that gave the seed.
How can anyone try to explain at the end of my life why anybody could dare to make a hole in my heart that had bleed for so long that no tears can mourn?

He should have been by now
almost forty seven years old
wearing of all grandfathers
on his children that honor.
But that wasn’t to be ever,
because abortion took hold,
of then a misguided woman
that dared to kill my son.
They said that woman’s body
only to her it will belong,
whatsoever the father has no say
nor apparently had my God.
Hate pull me away from there,
from a home that wasn’t a home,
but converted on a sad mausoleum
containing of my child his ghost.
To Nam went looking for that bullet
life seems at the end of it all,
I was crying them as I am doing now,
and as I did then, I do it alone.
Suddenly I had started dreaming big,
I was going to be the father, of a boy,
to hear he calling me Daddy ! Daddy!
and help him to make his first walk.
I was going to make a little ballpark
so we could play on catching ball,
whack with the bat a homerun
and cheer like crazy both of us…
It wasn’t to be for the wounded soldier,
abortion came and with a single shot
pierced again a heart realizing that
the child’s father had been from…
the beginning, an unwanted son too.
Abortion is a curse placed upon our Nation by a few miserable monsters that run our court system. Abortion could never have been legislated into existence by normal means, but sadly our Senate never had the courage to use its power to override the supreme courts decision. Your poem was sadly moving and should be required reading for all pro-aborts.

You know Georg, abortion needs to be outlawed everywhere in the world. I have to say especially here in the USA where it states in our Constitution, " LIFE, Liberty and the Persuit of Happiness". The value of all LIFE came first. We have sadly been chasing God out of our cuntry and so goes the value of life....
Sad to think what might have been, this happened to me as well. A woman I knew in college had an abortion without me emven knowing she was pregnant. I didn't find out till years later, I Despised her for killing our child.
I'll be honest: at first, I used to believe abortion was okay, if the mother's life was in danger. That was before I suffered my own miscarriage and the doctor saying that I was having a "spontaneous abortion." I got so mad, I yelled at him, "I did not do this myself."
Every child's life is precious, whether "normal" or not (what IS normal, anyway??). Every child deserves a chance to be born. It's sad to lose a mother, yes, but even sadder to lose the next potential scientist, president, hero, who is not given the opportunities because some decide to play God.
Painful to read, but necessary: when will we learn? God help us, have mercy...thank you, and I'm sorry for the hell you've had to endure.
Such a sad write as well as a profound write my friend! Abortion is a subject that hits home with me nearly twenty three years ago I was advised to abort my daughter. The physicians told me that they were 99.9% sure that she would be mentally challenged as well as physically handicapped. I looked them in the eye and told them even if she were, she would still be my child! Did this mean that I would love her any less, NO! I refused and nearly eight months later I gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl who is now a wife and mother herself! I can't imagine not getting to know my child...this would be devastating and a mental torment. You've given the reader much to think about from a view that many don't even consider! Well done my friend!

As scientists build too many machines, politicians cut the size of their populations because they say “With too many machines we need too few people”, forgetting that man has created the machine whereas the machine cannot create man. George abortion is no solution to control population growth though it is morally acceptable to avoid unnecessary pregnancies by all means possible if the couple decides to control their family size.
