Each time I find what looks like gold
Has been but brass disguised
A diamond in the rough has been
A stone with stone inside
I wish that vision was more sure
To view inside the depths
Avoiding all the pitfalls of
Mere glances and a guess
Tis much the same with people loved
Unless you see their souls
Some tend to be but handsome frogs
And anything but gold
