I once dreamed

Living big like a movie star, or a rich man I wish. I once dreamed of such. I dreamed of large houses, with pools and pool men and housekeepers clean floors and, perfect teeth and, of course, a heavy social calendar. Reality struck! Picking up overtime ‘cause my kids are behind on their car payment. The Blazer’s 4 wheel drive went out, and a thousand dollars is lost to a Mexican car mechanic . I once dreamed of a love that was like that you only saw in the movies, like Romeo and Juliet, and Liz Taylor movies. Reality struck! He leaves the toilet seat up, and forgets to introduce me to his friends. He is loving, responsible and is addicted to video games. He loves me but, I become invisible when wrestling comes on the boob tube. Living big, is a myth, or maybe an urban legend in my neighborhood. We live real, we live day to day and paycheck to paycheck.

Keep writing though truth is hard sometimes, but God is good and helps alot.

Your life sounds a bit like mine. Living on SS is very difficult. I always have more month than money. Pray is all I can do.

This is so true to the human condition. A wise man once told me "take charge - your destiny is for you to decide" I'm still workin on that.
