Poem Artwork


I was before, I am after.


I have lots of names, but answer to no one.


 I have no blood, but shed it all.


There's not one language, I cannot understand.

 
There's no one living, that can touch my hand.

 
Yet I can touch, each and every one,



and number the earth's grains of sand.


My mother conceived me not,

the world's sin I've completely bought.

 

The only thing I cannot do:

is, make a believer,


out of you.

Sad, but true. However "Blessed are those who CAN believe WITHOUT seeing." So many want 'proof' of unconditional LOVE. They can not understand that it simply IS and was born in the flesh so that they could find a written legacy of the evidence. If only they could reach past the walls of sight into the BLESSING that comes from BELIEVING.
