The poem says it all!!

Poem Artwork

I'm leaving for the boat,
a wonderful, house, afloat.

Filled with a man and his crew,
that really, really love me, too;
as I surely love them all,
from little Willie to David, tall.
My precious Dianna, the sweet of sweets

and her special mom, that with a great big hug,
will this adopted, father, greet.

No matter, what life throws,
we all, have our woes,
but love and, His Grace,
they sweep our decks,
they put, us, in that special place,
where only love can win,
where exists, no worldly sin.

A granddaughter, in my arms, on an old houseboat,
there I'll keep all my dreams and schemes,  afloat.
Resting in their love so fine,
Thanking Him, for making them,
thru their, sweet love; temporarily,
mine.

Loved this and great tribute for granddaughters. I have always wanted to live on a houseboat since I was a little kit and saw the movie, "Houseboat." Do you really live on a houseboat? My best, Gloria
