Poem Artwork

Oh Lord I'm not worthy, why do you use me? I'm fickle and used to pleasing me. If only you could finally fix, the circuits within my heart and my brain, that keep me running from you to me, a battle I can't win, and sometimes don't see. There must be thousands of sons you have Dad, that are better suited that make you feel glad. And yet when your voice is easy to hear, I almost believe that I don’t belong here, I feel like your son and I'm far from home, and yet you are with with me wheree'r I roam,.  You are so wondrous, so loving and kind, why can't I always at your feet reside, instead of falling into conceit and foolish pride,

To ever conceive that without you, I'm good.

Is to kid oneself like we never,
should!
But I guess that's why you had to come and Die, cause without you we are nothing, we're going to die; to die in our sin and rot with the,

 dead.
You came, and you lived and died instead.
Even though I hate my sin, you can't be a man and dwell herein, without the knowledge that you'll never be;, the way that you want and pray, the way you are called.
Cause we're just like cars, whose engines are stalled.
Without You bein the Mechanic that you need to be, I'd never run smoothly I'd just die and sputter, and with my own morals, be in some gutter.
So forgive me again and keep me ready to see,
that you use me and love me cause you made me,
and are, also making me, a new, and wondrous, heart!, from your loving, but, often, wayward, son,

Hi Art - Here I am - back again - sounds like a confession - pouring your heart out - we all feel unworthy at times and we all feel the pull of pride - I want to do it my way

Rock,
Of course, this discourse
is right on course...
Of course, What else COULD it be?

For there is but one,
His Other Son - and you -
Both, special as can be.

This is perfection...just like your new heart!
