                     SALT & LIGHT

The breeze, playful, n-soft ; tickles my skin,
wafting, and fluttering, loaded with essence and almost taste,
of Nature, a Meadow, perhaps? a special, enchanted, place,
where upon opening my eyes, I,
behold, your beauty, your Grace.

Everywhere I look

Everything I see
Reminds me, O LORD
Of Your Majesty!
In Spirit, I rise
To look at Your Face
Aware, that I, too
Must bear ev'ry trace
Of Your likeness, in me.

I stand, and face the rising sun, and am reminded,
persuaded perhaps, by fate's mighty hand,
that, as, the son of the King, I'm in His command.
for cockles of hearts, and all such sentiments,
touching and prying at my heart, are nothing, when:
compared:
To Him in my Life, a life with God,
shared.

I must take Your Hand
And enter into my Call;
Though I'm asked to scale mountains
Or e'er I must crawl...
I must never be turning
This way, or that
But remain in your Shadow;
Stay, in Your Path.

For your eyes are my light and your Word,
my road, I'm a sojourner in this land,
Roaming, never settling in one place.
I'm ever ready for your Kingdom to call
and beckon, for souls to, aid and abet
For knowing why, or when, or not knowing, yet.
