Crime is a lot less work than most any job today
So we must keep certain, that "crime doesn't pay"
The normality of gross behavior, in our world and ways
Just like in worlds gone by;
will toppel the applecart, as evil becomes
no big thing, where violence, is
just, another, acceptable high
You think I'm taking it too far and all is okay ?
What of the generation, that is apon us,
of sociopaths that splat heads and torsos night and day,
In the violent games that beckon them to emulate,
from, dangerous, unending play
In cities around the globe, there's idle youth with nothing better to do,
than text each other to meet somewhere, then, violence does ensue.
They wait, in hoodies, 'til an unsuspecting person walks by; and then proceed,
as a mob, to hurt, to maim, and sometimes, even kill.
They see no wrong in it, it's just, the way of the game,
that provides the sought after thrill.
When sought and questioned, they claim they're innocent and who can say they are not;
when so many people, all say the same:
they saw and heard, nothing,
no proof, have you got.
But games and idleness are reserved for the young and the old
Most, must make their way, at some, point in time.
What will they decide?
When they've been reared, raised, and accept as normal:
Violence, that paves the way
to Crime.
