Dreams and Schemes!
Dreams and schemes, are hard to catch, if your mitt, is still in your room.
And, if you don't believe, you can; you're facing disappointment and gloom.
When you start on an adventure, do like the Bible, tells you, to
count up all your marbles, and make sure there's enuff, to get, you, all, the way, thru
For starting and stopping, makes those, who feel led, to help you,
start to doubt their, intentions, as something, Godly, to do.
That's how I raised my daughters, and counseled, thru the years,
If you don't, finish, what you start, how can you expect, any cheers!
To add, to that, the fact, that God, now, doesn't want you to complete, what you, said: He, had you start
Shows a fickle mind, and, a doubleminded heart.
So, don't look back at coulda, woulda, and shoulda, it's not, to anyone's gain;
rather, learn the lesson, put before you, and avoid, a lot, further pain.
Admit your folly, for it's better, then, than, for it, to, deny
Any one with any wisdom, will know, that you are, at least, willing to try.
One, more thing, that will surely protect, and spare you, being, in the wrong,
Is to seek, affirmation and confirmation, before you dive in, head-long.
and the worst of the worst, be, rebellious, stubborn, and head-strong.
When it's in His will, things fall into place, but when you usurp, the throne, of your life,
well, you often end-up in misery and, disgrace.
So pray, pray, pray, and run it by, those, you trust, to here His voice, who do,
His Word, seek, to fulfill.
If all agree, and you've counted the cost, then you're well on your way,
to, making it, to the top, of life's, endlessly, challenging, hill,
to being more like, His, Son
Jesus, who,
Always, and Ever,
Did,
His Father's,
Perfect, Will!
"For which, one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it. Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all who observe it, begin to ridicule him, saying this man began, to build, and was not able to finish." Luke 25:28-30

We are to be Disciples (learn and live the disciplines)of Christ.
On the other hand, (you know me, ROCK - the Counselor/Advocate branch :)) the LORD shows mercy to all who love Him. Many people get ahead of the LORD's perfect timing, is all...and when that happens, they take the reigns into hands of flesh, instead of being led by His steadfast Spirit.

Life in Christ is an amazing adventure, and adventures frequently have starts and stops...but oh, the scenery He provides along the Way!
