Brilliantly conceived and executed (!!), Taylor! It's one thing to rise to a challenge... quite another to take one on in a genre that is outside of the usual comfort zones... this is admirable and the result highly enduring. Halloween usually leaves me cold, so I tend to ignore it... but I DID have a couple of lines come to mind... that then went on to become plain silly, so I ditched them! My black, conical, wide-brimmed hat is well and truly off to you! :)) LOL K xx

I envy your artistic ability, Taylor. Your writing is an eight course dinner for the kings and queens. You are quite remarkable. This work here is just amazing. Even more so because it was merely a challenge given to you by a fellow writer, and you just wrote it! Oh how I envy your vocabulary! Expansive, elusive and story-like. You define writer.

This is a chilling Halloween poem and skillfully written in acrostic form too! Your wonderful capacity for alliteration shines here. This is different from anything you have posted here before. Your versatility is impressive. I really like seeing this side of your creative mind!
