This morning I called a woman for a reference for a caregiver that I am hiring. She answered as though I were an answer to prayers. Her sister had demanded to leave the hospital without the ability to take care of herself. She told me the woman I was interviewing was a godsend, but lived 50 miles away and couldn’t stay. She desperately needed someone else so I told her all that I knew about getting caregivers and financial assistance to help pay for them.

Coincidence

Have you ever wondered,

why you got the luck of the draw?

Just when you needed it,

the stars lined up in awe?

When you were in desperate straits,

on a highway straight to hell,

when a stranger happened by,

glad to help and make things well.

Have you ever been with nowhere to turn,

your expenses far exceeding what you earn,

and then by some miracle of fate,

miracle money arrives ‘for it's too late.

Life is fickle and sometimes it's unfair,

but you never know where kindness is,

if you never reach out, just out there,

where others may help a lot if you just ask.

Pride may keep you from what you need.

Ask for help. We all hurt. We all bleed.

For even when we are in the darkest places,

light may peek out from under four aces.

Keep the dirty side down and the sunny side up,

and something may save that dirty old truck.

It's seen better days, with worse to come,

given tender care, it will stay in the run.

I CERTAINLY CAN RELATE! JUST WHEN WE THINK NOTHING CAN HELP, WE ARE BLESSED WITH THE ANSWER WE WERE SEEKING. GOD IS LIKE THAT. SO, ONE ASKS, WHY DIDN'T HE JUST STEP-IN IN THE FIRST PLACE? THINGS EASILY RECEIVED, ARE EASILY FORGOTTEN AND ALSO...WE LEARN TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD, WHATEVER THE OUTCOME. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

It feels good to receive a miracle least expected. You are right though, pride keeps a lot of people from receiving the help they genuinely need. A lovely write Ron.

Wish I had a caregiver, one that can cook & clean is all I need for this point in my life but could not afford it to be honest...-e-

Miracle always happens to those who need it and always at the right time. My husband and I had experienced it several times in our lives.I'm glad you were able to help the woman by giving her the necessary information that she needed.
