Taking up space, depleting resources,

Into the oblivion of all the other,

Silently desperate lives.”

Help bring a smile, encourage another,

Share the gift that is you and your life.

Be amazed at a dark heavy rain cloud,

And how the tiny bee can make honey so sweet;

Become entrenched by the humility caused,

When you are loved by a very small child.

Feel the miracle of the ground beneath you.

And all of the glory which exists in this world.

So press on, and for the gift of every moment

Make those footsteps one in front of the next,

Honor the time and space that you live in.
