Sometimes it is easy to Criticize or judge the way others choose to live-i am costantly reminded as a teacher and fellow traveler in life that there are many ways to travel aong life's road

Life is lived in so many ways Choices made in accordance With personal values, dreams, and desires Products of decisions lived in harmony with Personal ideas and pictures of happiness Vibrant and clear in the visions of each individual�s life dreams All want to be happy We strive for a balance of love and power We all desire to achieve power and create enjoyment Each being goes about this quest In their own, personal and very individual way What paints a scene of paradise for one May be in stark contrast to another�s idea of Eden So we trek along, each in his or her own step Strolling, skipping, trudging, leaping Along life�s journey from beginning to end

Karen, the photograph, reminded me of life on the wrong side of the tracks...yes, as a youngster I was familiar with the other side. We, as people, have the right to choose the way we want to live but some never seem to stray from that way of life due to uneducation and instilled upbrings. I like this poem much because it is so sad how people can get caught up in a particular way of life because its all they have ever known. Some make it a good life & others struggle until the end. I enjoyed this read.

Love and power, like grace and politics, are uneasy bedfellows, perhaps, and, in our walking along in step with each other, we have to learn to share the duvet equally and fairly between the two if we are alll to be covered and comfortable. It is an on-going learning and life experience, but wholly worth the effort to achieve an enlightened mutuality. TY Kate xx

What paints a scene of paradise for one
May be in stark contrast to another�s idea of Eden

How so very true. If only we could all allow each other to live as we see fit, I think the world would be a much better place.

Wise advise from a noble heart, yes as someon wise once wrote "judge not lest you be so judged" these sentiments still stand true today. I also loved the picture it is a story unto itself and grabs the observer and pulls them right into the scene. If this is one of your own works it is fantastic.
