I was of the same club particularly ca. 1973 or so and even remembered some of the original '66 or '67 debut shows (kid on the floor in front of TV) - the sequels over the years have steadily gone down in story quality! It'll never be the same.
Love that bg hair drag, Juliet, but somehow I missed out on
the Star Trek craze. Can't recall what I was doing at the time,
but I doubt that I was getting cozy with Dionysius. More's the
pity. This I like. -gene.
Juliet, I never watched Star Trek but I get the idea of what we value at certain times doesn't seem so important later, and the sense of diversion/displacement is strong.
