I apologize to all for being absent so long. I recently opened my own business, plus I am deeply into writing a screenplay that I hope to sell in the near furure. You are all always in my heart and prayers! This is a poem I wrote dedicated to African American fathers on Father's Day. Sorry this is a bit late, but it coms from the heart...

BECAUSE Because you are strong, yet gentle… Because you are proud, yet humble… Because you are so wise, yet so young… Because you are genuine to the core. Because you have ideals that are unshakable Because you have faith that is unbreakable. Because you exhibit and demand respect Because you feel more deeply than most would ever expect. Because you are fair and strive for peace, Because you adore your heritage, vow to teach Because our ancestors were enslaved And your heart and spirit is enraged That society has raped us, depraved Our history is rich, and has engaged Upon the journey to our rightful stage Among the Royalty of dominion, rebuilding our kingdoms To future dominance and total freedom! Because you seek to lift the hearts of many Because you possess charm, its powers uncanny Because, devoted father, all children you love and protect Because you are a REAL MAN, deserving of love, history reflects … Is why you are… My Hero.
