Life is a Zoo!
. . . caged behind the spectators
Wondering, "What is it they see, or want to, for that matter?"

It’s an elephant carrying a trunk
who travels back and forth for brunch
. . . a giraffe, sticking out its neck for it

It’s like a bear
moseying around in search of the prize berry
and ready to claw at anyone . . . a lion in our way 

It’s a tigress dressed in stripes
trying to outdo the ones with spots
Watch them change the channel to, "As the Hoot Owl turns"

Life is a Zoo!
Charging admission in order to mingle with God’s creations
then, feeling a sense of guilt paying for the fixations

It’s a Walrus, I am a Walrus, yeah. . .
You know, the coo-coo cachou!
(to prevent from having a bad taste in my mouth!)

Life is a Toucan, with a vibrant beak!
A hyena that can’t speak . . . only laughs uncontrollably
Yeah, it’s a zoo all right!

In awe over exotic birds
but still walking paths toward the amphibians
knowing,  when you enter, you'll come face to face with a  snake!

Look at the monkeys, some swinging about
some picking fleas . . .
and there’s always a goose on the loose!

It’s a zoo, I tell ya, Life is a Zoo!
And I ‘ve gone stark raving wild, because of it!
"Please, Do Not Feed this Women!"
