I wear my 29 Palms shirt
It's more than a shirt to me
My son Patrick was sent there
And served as a Marine did he
But what he brought back from there
Was the birth of rock in his soul
And the first self named cd
Was Navar with stories to unfold
Then came the second Your Window
With brother Ben by his side
And now they've turned out yet another
A Touch of Class...what a sweet ride
To say that I am proud
Can almost be left unsaid
I wear my tee shirt proudly
I know where the sweat was first shed.

Nicely done. I remember 29 Palms only two well. I did a bit of rock and roll there also, but with a 50 cal. before Vietnam. We called that place, somewhat affectionately, 29 Stumps...heheheheh. Thanks for the memory lane trip and congrats to your son.
