He woke up and wondered
Why he couldn't talk so good
He was having trouble
In the speech neighborhood
He thought he bit his tongue
He didn't know what it was about
I wanted him to call the doctor
It made me mad and want to shout
Well, he finally did
And an MRI was done
He suffered a small stroke
And that's why his speech came undone
He is happy to know
That is what it was
And now he'll keep talking
Until his speech is the way it twas

Thanks everyone...he is able to work and function, I wrote stroke of "luck" because we are thankful that is all that happened...he can live and deal with a speech problem, we are glad it was not more serious. THANKS SO MUCH FOR CARING! HUGS AND LOVE

Oh Lynn, ...that must have been agonising...hope your husband is soon on the mend. Scary stuff life throws at us sometimes...stay strong. Love and hugs, Panda :)
Happy he did get to see the doctor and get a diagnosis. Now on the road to recovery. I will keep you in my prayers.

You must have been awfully worried Lynn, at least now you both know what the problem is and deal with it. Sometimes the wondering and worrying are unbearable, as I'm sure you know. Speedy recovery for your hubby.
