My son is a lion...

My son tried out for The Wizard of Oz And got the part he'd wanted No, he wasn't the scarecrow, But the lion, the cowardly lion The pride I felt seeing him up there On the stage made me feel great He'd memorized his lines, good boy And delivered them perfectly straight Perhaps a future as an actor Is what for him is in store I know one thing He'll have no problem Being the one to roar.
