Yesterday was nice
bitter cold like ice
on a summer day.
What else can they say?

They have brand-new cars,
women with no flaws,
and a fast lifestyle
that drives the law wild.

Quick money no gains
nor glory or shame,
gratification
nor pay vacation.

Tomorrow’s leaving,
Yesterday’s dreaming,
No worries no cares
The street millionaires.

Now, in jail today.
What else can they say?
A number on list . . .

Street Capitalist.

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautiful
