The night is drenched in starlight
The moon beams dance on waves
And as my heart skims o'er the sea
My mind screams to be saved
I won't stay victim of ennui
In world that's lost its dream
Somehow I must set sail
While orbs of light prevail
I cannot let the tide recede
To leave me here in dire need
Beauty shines forth in the night
Beckoning the cosmic sight
Does truth abound in foreign lands
More so than it does here
Will the same footsteps in the sand
Greet me with hope to spare
Perhaps when comes the morning light
The future will look clear
Before I close my eyes a shadow appears
Hovering over me, yet with it no fear
I feel the emanation of warmth
I drift to sleep under Angels wings of care

Carole...love and peace
keep our Eileen in
your heavenly sight.
This world was meant
for her to wing the
astral flight, weary
moments now looking
bright.
This one is just for you, Eileen. Take care.

Your beautiful poem represents the faithful servant who trusts completely in the Almighty, and his divine restorative powers, and the comfort of his reassuring angels !
I sense your spirit is elevating again !

Many great lines in this excellent poem.My favorite part is:
'I cannot let the tide recede
To leave me here in dire need'
That's a poem in itself and very quotable.
I will catch up reading your excellent work over the next few days it's still school holidays here and I miss reading you as Alexandra has kept me off the computer.I am glad George is feeling better (I saw that poem listing above,I am off to read it now.)
Best wishes always
love from
