Poem Artwork

If only I could chase the past
Leave my dreams in bed
Think of new realms to explore
Get you out of my head
Make your face become a blur
Forget your virile voice
Stop imagining the touch
That made you my first choice

If only your poetic words
Had not become addictive
knowing the premise is absurd
That without you I can't live
Yet, my every cell you possess
Oh how I wish it weren't so
Many a night I dream of you
But I'll never let you know

As Myrna said ... this is both bitter and sweet Eileen. It almost struck me as a confession. An overcoming victory and a secret emotional burden carried in the same knapsack. I had no idea he was a poet too.

M'lady...if this poem is reality, I would suggest it be sent to that "virile voice"; then how could HE resist YOU!! Delightful testimony to love...

Eileen,
Your writing and photos are always so captivating. I find that even though they're not there they still are.
