Poem Artwork

He is a mind traveler
who navigates his way
through your brainwaves
embedding his words as he goes
playing games with your thoughts
manipulating them to agree with
his way of thinking, enticing you
with pleasures that can thrill
while his brilliant mind gets his fill
of satisfaction by never allowing
you to know who he truly is
by choosing to  remain a mystery
one who can take you or leave you
at will, and does it with the ease of
a saintly imposter reaching for divinity
while leaving you to your lone infinity

Now the question, sugar chum, is who is this dastardly fellow? Sounds quite spiritual (warfare) in nature, but could also apply to the corporeal I would imagine. Excellent write!
Blessings ...

Eileen - Deep poem - aren't all men "Mind Manipulators"
To a certain degree. Born to learn to see.
And what we see we don't like
But do it continually.

Very sultry and sensual, especially at the end!!

I knew some women fell in love for some reason, now this great poem confirms my fears. My question is, do women like the mind manipulator or believe that is actually "love"?

I don't like any mind manpulators!!! Although I really liked your poem!!
