The first thing they look for after the murder. You've captured perfectly the eating suspicion of the insecure. Life would be much better without. Try to go with my gut instinct and not continue suspicious relationships.

Oh, oh, oh! I love this one! Is there a sequel?? :~)
I was completely drawn in by this and wanted to know why it was she didn't trust him completely. But then... I realized that maybe that is because I so often have the same questions with so many people in my life. This just perfectly captured those feelings! Well done!

I have had the same problems with the editor; I just don't use it anymore ...
Maybe it was just a kernel of love trying to root. Maybe it was just a passing fancy in a midnight dream. Maybe she was afraid because he saw something in her that she didn't see in herself.

Nevertheless ... soul searching is always good (as is reflected admirably in this write), - we can avoid many pitfalls in so doing.

Eventually, it rears its head, doesn't it? A pity relationships cannot be perfect. I suppose they've never been, for that matter. This is one to puzzle over a while.

I agree with George, when one begins to question motives they lose their confidence and individuality; not a good aspect for love.
