The Biscuit Tin Man refers to a condensed section of my book i.e. Hypnotic Friendships

From Hypnotic Friendships

The requested “analytical analysis” for Ben Norwood!

A condensed version of his story section!

             The Biscuit Tin Man

                             (1.)

A treasure was your biscuit tin.

Filled to brim with loot it was a sin.

About your money I cared not a hoot.

Nor' did I seek a basket of fruit.

(2.)

From within I heard a cry.

Help, I'm flitting, don't pass by.

Your baskets, I then did carry.

Believe me, I did not tarry.

(3.)

You’re new house, such a mess.

"Let me help", said I.  Or did you guess.

I worked all day, we talked all night,

This to help you out of your plight!

(4.)

Ceilings painted and lowered too.

Walls papered. Painting - last colour, pale blue!

With sweat on brow, I did start to plough.

Some explaining then showed you how.

(5.)

From your garden went boulders and ash.

Then all the other slate and trash.

Now in their place grows lovely grass.

In summertime, please smile, bold as brass

(6.)

Like fussy Drummer, from a Band.

Cement for money, but none for sand.

Left me at home, said Ta ta

Message will contact, Ha ha

(7,)

'Sou Gen’ you went just for a pill.

A bed they gave as you were ill.

'Cab' keys to Shirley, she went to boot.

Then to her home was carried your loot.

(8.)

To me she said you were in pain.

Stevenson.  Yes, I went again.

Just for a week you were away.

Your thanks, turned-my-night-to-day!

(9.)

Recruit in Army is named Nig-Nog.

When is a 'friend' not a Wog?

Mood and temper not any brighter,

               at return of stolen lighters!

 (10.)

To the Tax Enforcers we did go.

A little 'poor mouth' another show

Your own Accountant spoke a trick.

About your biscuit tin he was 'Psychic'.

(11.)

A monologue of Tax Warrant sales

Deciding what to hide another tale!

Hired from advert; 'Garage Lock-up'.

Like many other things, another cock-up.

(12.)

With much reason mixed in rhyme.

'X-Ray eyes', are never sublime!

Can you forget some words of mine?

Many others I could surely entwine

(13.)

About Dumbarton a foolish ploy

Another Mr Growood not to enjoy

Then velvet curtains at Little Chef

Did you think me a little dumb or deaf?

(14.)

Many times told secure your Cab.

Midnight marauder a dozen times fab!

Paraquat to the thieving brute!

Like a broken gun never a cat can shoot.

(15.)

Without any marking you threw your dice.

Why old chum demand a price!

Don't be so stubborn your hedge will grow!

Like a thousand bulbs in a row!

(16.)

As to your calibre may I ask?

Analyse what you can, see it not as a task!

All you have read how much is true ?

All you have said, how much can you do?

(17.)

On another day what will you say?

Could our friendship go astray?

You spoke of truth; it proved only a lie.

Twice not the courage to say goodbye!

(18.)

To do for me what was done for you.

'Thus' by effort do we know what's true .

One so smart, the other so poor

The second had heart.  The first felt secure.

(19.)

It reads like a four-line lament

It's all psychological, at times a bit terse.

Can it be hypothetical, or another mere jest?

Dare you ask the'Master'who thinks best?

      To the 'Reader' without prejudice;

For the 'Student' it's nice to be nice!

                                    As always

                         You’re very good friend

Standing On My Knees by Pinkstone

I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work. I wanted to purchase a sukiyaki sub. I parked my car in an area of
