Just A Dream

 I placed my arms around you,
I held on to you with all my might,
How I wished I could have stayed,
And made love all through the night.

I felt your hand gently touch me,
I could feel your breath upon my neck,
I heard words you whispered softly,
Your gentle kiss was just a peck.

I saw that special smile you give,
To show just how you really feel,
I could almost hear your heart beat,
Then I realized this isn't real.

I felt the way you touched me,
Sent a quiver through my inner thigh,
Then I awoke to find I was in a  dream,
All I could do in my pillow was cry.

It seems  I've left you  so long ago,
 It doesn't seem right to be here all alone,
I,ve left you there and I am here
It doesn't seem right for us to roam.

Love is a feeling that two people share,
Like a song that's sung in my heart,
Sometimes it isn't meant to be real,
 Just a dream can keep them apart.
