It broke my heart to see you go, but
I should be thankful for the time we
had together, which I am but greed
kicks in dear Cuz as you do know how
much you really do mean to me dear.
Thank you for a wonderful surprise and
always know how much I truly love you.

Here Today & Gone


Here today, gone tomorrow,
Savouring each moment in time,
A thought a surprise, a love so dear,
Another stored memory in  my mind.

You made me smile from ear to ear,
A happy tear you caused me to cry,
Today you’ll go on that airplane again,
As I still question the reason  as to why.

Two or three days are just not enough,
Maybe a week or even two,
Gosh if I had only gotten a hint,
If someway I had only knew.

I don’t have to tell you I care,
You know what you mean dear to me,
I’m so proud to announce to the world,
That we are related you see.

I know I’m greedy when it comes to you,
Don’t want to now let you go,
Just want to keep you close by forever,
But that’s a secret that you already know.

Just take care of yourself and stay safe,
Till we again meet in time,
Always know my darling dear Cuz,
You live in my heart and my mind.

Well I am again flattered and sorry I took so long to answer, coming down with the flu on my arrival back in Halifax really took the good out of me, but not the good memories of my trip and visit with you, Fred and Christa. Do not be sad though for life is too short to be sad...instead celebrate and look forward to your trip home in June.
