A Real Winters Day
December 7, 2009
Written by: Rose Marie Rideout
It’s blowing and snowing,
A cold frosty day
The roads are all slippery,
As motorist slide on their way.
Cars and trucks doing spins
In the mist of the 101 Highway,
It’s cold and it’s frosty,
It’s a real winters day.
Put on a movie with hot chocolate,
The kind of day you snuggle inside,
With the fireplace burning,
The flames rising high.
It’s looks so pretty as
We look from the inside,
Children going with sleds,
For a long winters ride.
A warm winter coat,
Mitts and hats are a must
A warm cozy scafe and
High boots for the slush.
It’s blowing and snowing,
As all finds their way,
It’s cold and frosty,
It’s a real winters day.
For a look back at a cold scene
I don't miss that scene
left it behind, no more shoveling side walks and driveways
Love & peace be with you
William
Stay safe and stay inside!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
Sounds like God left a blanket of snow in your world. So far, no snow in Va. A delightful poem Rose, I hope you enjoy the snow. Make a big pot of soup and stay by the fire!
Blessings,
