You say you’re older in years,
I say I love you truly,
You say you really care.
You say what might have been,
I say just give us one chance,
Come hold me in your arms,
Our shot at true romance.
Don’t let the distance robb us,
From a love that ought to be,
Come take me in your arms,
Let us love each other tenderly.
Don’t let our lives disappear,
Without a chance to become,
A love that we both hold,
We can make our love become one.
A New Year is starting,
The old one is now in the past,
Lets take what we have to offer each,
A love we know will forever last.
One minute, one day, one week,
A month or a year,
Come hold me in your arms ,
Love me forever Dear.
