Do You Still See me

As I age one day at a time,
 Do you still look at me,
Do you still see me as you once did,
As I was so many years ago.

Do you see the graying in my hair,
The few extra pounds I carry,
My skin isn`t as tight as it once was,
My eyesight isn`t quiet the same.

Do you still long to hold me in your arms,
You once stared at me while I slept,
Do you still see me as you once did,
As I was so many years ago.

I have a few wrinkles now,
I always called them laugh lines,
But you and I know dear,
It all comes with age.

I look at you as I have for years,
You are more now then I ever wanted,
You have become stronger and
Made me stronger through the years.

I look at you in the distance,
I don`t see the gray in your hair,
All I see is this handsome man,
One I have loved for thirty-seven years.

I still stare at you while you sleep,
I still long for your arms and your attention,
I still see you as I have over the years,
Only one change, my love for you is stronger
