I’ve searched both night and day,
But no where could I find,
The secret of a love so true ,
The one that’s your’s and mine.

If you ever find you’re lonely,
And the dark night fills the sky above,
Just follow the stairway.
To find our secret love.

If the stars begin to fade away,
And gentle raindrops make you cry,
Just follow the stairway,
And you will understand why.

You’ll find me always waiting there,
For you and your welcoming arms,
Keeping the stars bright above,
With all your love and charms.

Not too much to surround us,
But all we need to hold and love,
Just follow the stairway,
You’ll find me waiting up above.
