The Road We Travel

There’s only one road to travel,
The one our heart will lead us to.
The road that seems familiar,
For the life that we’ll go through.
It’s right that we should care,
But we don’t owe our life,
To live in a caring manner,
For hurt can cause such strife.

The road we travel,
Won’t always be uphill,
It will have many hurdles,
Making us to stand still.
We’ll take a look at the path<
To find our way in the night,
Leaning down the right road,
To make our decision right.

It’s a long trip through life,
Best trust where we chose to go,
For the hurdles may lead us astray,
To fast for us to know.
There’s only one road to travel,
The one our heart will lead us to,
The road that’s most familiar,
For the life that we’ll  go through.
