Just thoughts of life , where I' have come from and where I have gone.
The Road I Long to Travel July 5,2011
By Rose Marie Rideout Before you there was no other,
But a very large family,
My Parents and sisters and brothers,
But no magical love to fill my path.
Then there was you, in all your glory,
I didn’t need a paved way,
Dodging along was great on the gravel.
This was the road I long to travel.
I saw light and felt the warmth,
I found love and shared smiles,
I found peacefulness and joy,
I found you along the road of gravel,
Walking with me on the road I long to travel.
Nights were quiet and tears fell easy,
Tears of joy and smiles stretched for miles,
For what I needed, what I longed for, I found,
You and I together on the road of gravel,
This was the road I lwas meant to travel.
WHAT A PROFOUND MESSAGE! IT ISN'T EASY...IS IT? BUT THEN, LIVING IS NOT EASY, SMOOTH...PAVED. AND IN THE END WE FIND THAT THE 'GRAVEL ROAD' IS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED...WHAT WE'VE ALWAYS LONGED FOR. EXCELLENT AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
I agree wholeheartedly...No thing that is worth having comes easy, its always a bumpy walk/ride, but worth every pothole along the way...Love this love yah xxx
