Welcome back Rose. I too have recently returned from a long absence and am hoping to get on the site more. I missed the Den very much. Very nice offering. "My heart continues to skip a beat"...what a line, the singular beat, skipped repeatedly..I like it all but particularly that line. Be well, Kathy

As we get older memories come into light of various things,
especially "a silver lining," a great write,Rose...
Many sad reflections in this poem...the thought of "feel your tears on my face" especially touches me. I hope you are happier than the poem suggests.
