After a lifetime of being careful,
Of measuring each step,
I've suddenly thrown caution
To the four winds
And taken to chasing rainbows
From the back
Of a wild stallion.
Fear and excitement
Battle for supremacy
Within my woman's heart
And I hold on for dear life
Even as I let out triumphant cries
While urging the stallion on.
Faster! Faster!
We fly across the days
And nights
And I do not look back
Except in pity
For the gray shell of a person
I left behind.

To the technicolor spirit
Who basks in the glory
Of her full existence

However hard the landing,
I resolve never
To be gray again.
