Why do I do
The things I do?
Entrusted
To show restraint
And common sense
I lasted seven days
Before caving
To anger
And rebelliousness.
I have no excuse,
No good reason,
Only frustration
And fury
Turned sideways
And backwards
Upon myself.
When the discovery is made,
As it will no doubt be,
Any semblance
Of respectability
Will be ripped away,
Leaving me naked
And shamed
Before the masses,
Proving to one and all
That my feet
Are not the only parts
Of me that are made
Of clay.

Be always safe,
Karen
Well done!
