Years of denying
It didn't lie ahead,
A lifetime of wishes
Never to be granted;
After all the pain,
The agony of acceptance,
And now a quiet mourning
As I watch it
Pass from sight.
I can soooo relate to this one Rebecca, sometimes I wonder how many broken hearts ever truly heal. I guess at least we can take some comfort in knowing we are not alone...
