This is positively throbbing, Belle, with passion and with such a tension between that fast-beating heart, measuring moments that are all-too fleeting, and also the pulse fluttering away into eternity. I love the duallism here - of the forever and the transient. I can tell you, mortality is making we sweat at the moment, even though my timeframe is ongoing. Yep, when you get "to a certain age", you start to begin to know not just WHAT you want, but also WHO you are and that NOW is the time to both act and become all that you're meant to be. I am fascinated by your poetry at the Den this time around... It was always thus romantic and pulsating, but there is a depth and urgency to it, coupled with a mature wisdom and ever-evolving and ongoing beauty. Classic romance that isn't just silver-screen and youthful, but seriously, heart-achingly real-life and adult. Love it! TY Kate xx
