You Are Missing My Tenderness And Fire

Poem Artwork

Art 'Ask Me Not Again'
By Sir Lawrence Alma-Taldem

What You No Longer Have
By La Belle Rouge

you miss what you no longer have
but you could have had
all of me

you feel the stark emptiness now
yes, My Darling, you are numb
with grief

you are so weary with wanting
and tired of temptation
intrepid seduction

you are tempted, again as before,
to find me in the shadows
and embrace fate

knowing how hot the fire still burns
and raw passion still stirs
in your dreams

in your thoughts I forever will linger
and touch you in ways no other
woman can

no other woman reaches your depths
the way I do... how you miss
my tenderness and fire

fight the temptation and leave me
here in the shadows missing
what I no longer have

Missing what we no longer have isn't as painful as to miss what we never had.
I missed your peaceful poems with words of love when at the beach, I was trying to understand what the sea was trying to tell me.
