La Belle The Red And Capt. Ed
By La Belle Rouge

No Nay Never do I tire of the bloodshed
tha boom of tha canons, clank of swords.
And never do I tire of tha booty we takes
when the king or queen’s vessel we boards.
I be as cutthroat as all our scurvy crew,
handy with a two pistols and dagger.
I’ve perfected many great grand cusses
and tha tippin gait of a pirate’s swagger

Never does I tire, nay, of Ole Edvard’s plank
and when he don’t give me me propers
I gives his big ears a timber shiverin yank.
A great grand time twas had by all
except for them sniveling Spainard dogs
the day we took their plenteous booty
and gutted em all like Christmas hogs.
I won’t too thrilled about them women
Ole Edvard brought aboard that day
I better not be catchin him in no clenches
with sultry, black eyed, naked wenches
Or I’ll cut his famous family jewels away!

I be peaceable enough in his cabin
when he plies me with Jamaican rum.
But even tho he be a scalawag rogue
he makes me squeal gettin tha dirty done.
Now on to more grand pirate adventure
while we fights the dark angry sea
And if Ole Capt. Edvard won’t let me
flog him for a bit of tawdry pleasure
Salty Walt surely will, ye see!

Remind me never to tick you off, Lady La Belle, or it's the plank, for sure! A rollicking adventure on the high seas ... had to laugh at,

" ... Never does I tire, nay, of Ole Edvard's plank
and when he don't give me me propers
I gives his big ears a timber shiverin yank ..." Bet you do. :) Well done, milady!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

I think that no one does poetic humor, romance, and adventure quite like the pen of "La Belle The Red."

Much gratitude for the fun Jamaican rum-soaked read:-)

La Belle,

Great. I felt like I was on the high seas with a pirate with a patch over his eyes. Very creative.
