you should be curled up on her lap
Blue velvet and paranormal peridots
Tail long and tapered like your body
oh so elegantly sleek and muscular
YOU, caged at an adoption center!
Feline royalty discarded, imprisoned
like a common creature of no worth
Agile paws reached through bars
to play with my extended fingers
Soft meows spoke poetry to my soul
Yes, you were the one I’d waited for
Convinced I’d never be owned again
you purloined my cat lover’s heart
Already named, “Mystic” a magic title
befitting such a mystical blue lady
who makes me feel like a Tsarina

I have three British shorthairs, Belle, and the only discernible differences to your beautiful Mystic are the eyes, my boy and girls have amber orbs. I'm glad your 'blue lady' makes you feel like a Tsarina; my lot? I'm their humble servant, and of course I love them to bits.
