There Is Peace In My World.

In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; For Thou, LORD, makest me dwell alone in safety Psalm 4:6 Peace On Earth there seems to be no peace on Earth yet, in my world, there is tranquility serenity, harmony at long last the years of agony and confusion seem almost insignificant now left behind, only fleeting memories that state which I longed for envelopes me in a spiritual cocoon of long delayed acceptance and love now with vestiges of youth fallen I am not ashamed of facial furrows nor well earned threads of silver now I am pleased to do as I please with no one to impress or satisfy for I am loved for who I am nothing remains the same and everything changes, except change tomorrow owns tomorrow's storms but today there is peace in my world no hate, no grudge, the past is passed shadows linger but I walk in sunlight I begin to know this person I am to live as who I was created to be safe in the arms of God and love �

Isn't it wonderful when we can find that place of peace in our lives? I think I know how you feel, because I've been there for some time. Hoping for no major storms ahead. I hope your poem gives encouragement to those that are not at peace but are still seeking it with all their might.
