Moonlit Whispers Moonlit whispers, echoed morn Just before the break of dawn To watch the shadowed cratered seas Beneath the canopy among the trees Were there footprints in your sands Among the surface of your lands Copernicus, among the shadows you shone bright Among the seas of eternal night To cast no shadows in the fray Before the dawn of breaking day Cratered beauty bathed in light Behold this wonder in my sight How the hallowed, whispers talked Among the shadows as I walked Moonlit whispers, hallowed morn How I await, the break of dawn Photograph by Darryn John Murphy
