When I cross the bay and daylight fades
Let others draw from their smiling faces
Look for me in different places
For now I stand on hollowed ground
Where footprints mark the ground
Without a sound
For if I die, before I wake
Be sure they bury me beside the lake
And remember at dusk on hollows eve
To light a candle among the leaves
To honour the thought of knowing me
Would we trade to not have had experienced the journey? I think not: you've made your mark in beautiful lines, Darryn.

I enjoyed reading this work. A journey we all must take, but, at the same time, it is nice to leave honorable memories for those left behind. Thank you.
