Sombre day among the hue
Beneath the sky in amber blue
Faded echoes against the shore
The tidal sands in earthly roar

Birds flutter among the leaves
Among the echoes of green sleeves

Rosemary scent upon the wind
And there were passions felt within
Twain thy heart has known such pleasures
Do with me, as you will upon your leisure

Betwixt me in the still of night
Beneath the heavens in twilight
Murmured moments among the sands
Silent whispers upon my hands

Twice I’ve walked among the leaves
And there are times that my heart grieves
Bluebells sway upon the breeze
Where anchored thoughts now rest with ease

Clutch thy hand upon Cupid’s bow
To hail the winds as they blow
Twain thy heart upon your leisure
Gentle touch with earthly feather
