If I loved you unselfishly
Would you return your love?
In the spirit of unselfish empathy
If I looked to the stars above
Would you know it was you?
That I was thinking of
To my heart I must be true
I just can’t stop, from loving you
Beautiful angel, heavenly light
How I do wish, you were with me tonight
To walk in your presence
And bathe in your essence
What love has pierced me greater?
For you are my angel of love
And my love for you could never be greater
Hallowed angel beneath the stars above
You have besieged me, with your unselfish love
Moonlit mystic river angel, rest your head upon my navel
Listen within and hear the heart that waits within
For you’re the love, of my heart therein!
