IN this hologram, life seems to run neck and neck with my own memories, good and bad. I've never thought of it as a hologram although now the word does fit. I know I still can step in and out when I select unless dreaming takes me there.

Very sensitive - man a hologram of the past, but still essentially the same person [I hope]. Those ideologies and passions from our childhood sculpt the hologram/man/woman.
Like the hologram itself, this poem is a layering on of snapshots of a lifetime bringing you to where you are today. Exceptional write.
Take care,
Sherry
I find this very interesting because you portray it more as a mirror image. Of a longing for what once was or what you might like it to be. Very sensitively written...
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
