Let me forge a blazing new path through the clouds Let me climb the stepped leader of a lightning bolt Let me slide down a slippery rainbow slide Let me ride a thunderhorse (I'd like a fast colt)
Let me play a game among the northern lights Let me sing to an audience of stars in the sky Let me introduce myself to the planets Let me kiss the man in the moon as I pass by
Let me dance on the peaks of a mountain range Let me soar with the eagle at unheard of heights Let me have visions of wonder in my head Let me have something to hope for every night

I'm thinking of that song, "Dream The Impossible Dream". Don't know why, but yer absolutely correct--Nothing is impossible. Positive thinking will get you EVERYWHERE. Lovely poem.

Karla, that last line is the illusive, always talked about key to life's mysteries...hope... something to look forward to. I think it's the reason we sleep between sunset and the dawn... every single day is new and full of hope. What a magnificent, grandly positive piece you've written! This is an anthem for hope and the future and for never giving up. Wonderful stuff, dear heart! katy xox.
